Kevin is a versatile pianist, composer, and educator based in Guelph, Ontario. With a passion for a wide range of musical genres, he performs everything from jazz, funk, and pop to Latin styles like salsa, cumbia, and bossa nova. Kevin has showcased his talents at major festivals across Ontario, including Salsa at St. Clair, Mississauga Latin Festival, and the Festival of Friends, and has performed in iconic venues such as Lula Lounge and Koerner Hall.
A graduate of Mohawk College, Kevin studied jazz performance and composition under the guidance of renowned Canadian musicians such as Adrean Farrugia, Pat Collins, and Darcy Hepner. His compositions reflect a diverse musical palette, blending pop, funk, and modern jazz, influenced by contemporary artists like Robert Glasper and Brad Mehldau.
In 2020, Kevin was awarded the Dundas Valley Orchestra Composition Competition, further solidifying his reputation as an emerging voice in the Canadian music scene.
