Silas Chinsen has been teaching music for 10+ years to students of all ages and skill levels. He tailors lessons to each student’s individual interests and learning style, following the Royal Conservatory of Music method as well as teaching students how to learn their favourite songs by ear, compose their own music, and improvise. Silas is also a multi-genre arranger, composer, and producer, with his work performed by professional and community ensembles around Ontario.  Silas completed his Bachelor and Master of Music in guitar and vocal performance at the University of Ottawa, graduating with the highest distinction. Above all, Silas wants to give his students a positive experience to nurture their love for music and enjoy the process of learning.
