Piano, Theory Rudiments
Margarita Tsyganchuk is a bilingual (French/English) piano teacher with 37 years of experience. After completing her studies in Almaty State University of Music, Margarita obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Music with qualification of Piano Teacher, Accompanist and Soloist of Chamber ensemble.
Margarita started teaching children while she was a university student in 1979. After graduating, she continued her career as piano teacher in the leading state music academy for talented children.
Since arriving in Canada in 1999, Margarita worked at the Toronto Faculty of Music School and has been leading after-school French language piano programmes in French schools of Mississauga and Guelph. Her comprehensive experience combines academic achievements with skills in Music Theory, Harmony, Music History and knowledge of children’s pedagogy and psychology.
Margarita teaches students of all ages and levels and prepares them to achieve high distinction in Royal Conservatory Examinations in Piano, Theory and Harmony. Many of Margarita’s students became prize winners and First Prize-winners in Music Festivals, such as The Kiwanis Music Festival of Greater Toronto, The Peel Music Festival, The Mississauga Music Festival, Davenport Festival of Music, Rotary Burlington Music Festival and Kiwanis Music Festival of Guelph.
Margarita enjoys working with students, her lessons are structured to develop piano skills, concentration, coordination and appreciation of music.
